The Dayton Dragons drop their first series of the season. On Friday, the Peoria chiefs made an outstanding comeback in the last two innings of the game to beat the Dragons 10-9. This is after 6 errors on their part. Surprisingly the 10th run was made by shortstop Dylan Johnston who had made four of the errors alone, clinching the series for the Chiefs.
Saturday, the Dragons traveled to play the Fort Wayne Wizards and lost 1-0, their third loss in a row. Yet, Mother's Day brought a turnaround. The Dragons pulled off a 2-1 win, tying the series. The Dragons are now 25-8 and will hopefully move it to 26-8 after tonight's game.
