Up to four inches of rainfall is expected to fall down on Dayton today and tonight. Thunderstorms left over from Tropical Storm Erin are swinging through the Midwest.

Since the area has been so dry all summer, the dirt is rock hard. The rainfall may runoff and flooding may occur in streams, sewers, and other similar areas.

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms and showers after noon today and a 90% chance after 11 p.m., which is supposed to be the heaviest of the rainfall.

There is also a 50% chance of rain Tuesday and then it is supposed to be dry the rest of the week.
