| The heat and humidity in the Miami Valley keeps getting worse as the week goes on.Dayton City Schools has even canceled school the last three days.
The weather has been and is expected for the rest of the week to be between 90 and 100 degrees with a very high level of humidity.
Dayton and Montgomery County escalated the heat advisory pronounced earlier in the week to a heat emergency on Tuesday. Greene County did the same on Wednesday.
Clinton, Warren, and Butler Counties also have excessive heat warnings until 6 a.m. Thursday.
Miami, Darke, Clark, and Preble Counties have heat advisories until 6 a.m. Friday.
Many cool off zones have been set up all around the city. Be careful about staying outside and drink lots of water everyone!
