Sony Playstation Exec Steps Down

Ken Kutaragi, 56, the chief architecht of Playstation, steps down as chairman and group chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.. Kutaragi was the chief architecht of the playstation, yet Sony's market share in the gaming economy has shrunk significantly in the competition against Nintendo Wii and Microsoft's X-box 360. Kazuo Hirai, former President and chief operating officer, will replace him.
