A One-Two-Go Airlines plane crashed and killed 89 people on Monday.

The plane had 123 passengers and 7 crew and was flying from Bangkok to the island of Phuket in Thailand.

As the plane was landing, it burst into flame, killing 89 and wounding 41.

Officials say that most of the passengers were foreigners and the U.S. Embassy is stating that 4 were Americans.

The airline claims that wind shear, the rapid change in wind speed during take-off and landing, may have caused the crash.
