A Scandinavian Airlines plane crash landed Sunday at the Aalborg Airport, a short distance away from Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Q400 plane had 73 people on board from Copenhagen.

The pilot announced there were problems with the landing gear before the plain caught fire attempting to land on the runway.

Spectators said the plane was a huge cloud of smoke and dust as it hurtled down the runway.

Only 5 people sustained minor injuries. The airport is still shut down Monday until further notice since the crashed plane is still blocking the runway.

Other flights throughout Denmark were also canceled or delayed due to the incident.
